Absolute Radio 60s

Absolute Radio 60s is a British radio station that belongs to Absolute Radio network and that focuses on music from the 1960s. This station's debut was on 22 November 2011, a week before Absolute Radio 70s. Absolute Radio 60s is available through Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) on the Bauer Radio multiplex in Inverness and also online. Upon its launch it was aired on DAB on most places than its 70s counterpart, in London, the north and west of England, and Scotland. On 23 April 2013 Absolute Radio 60s together with Absolute Classic Rock was removed from several DAB platforms in England and Wales, but the stations continued to broadcast in London and online. One year later, it was reported that this station would be removed from London and the few other remaining local DAB multiplexes, but would be added to Inverness DAB. The final reconfiguration of Absolute Radio 60s took place on 5 January 2015.
